There's Something I Haven't Told You...

Josh and I have decided to take on a new way of life for the year 2011-or for this summer specifically.  No more namby pamby summers on the beach or sitting poolside enjoying the San Diego sun and swaying palm trees. The new program is called "Let's See How Much Change/Stress We Can Pack In to One Summer." Sounds fun. Anyone want to join us?

You know you see those lists of things that cause stress in life? Here are the ones we have chosen off that list to throw into our summer:

1. Move out of state. In June (around the 10th probably) we will move to Utah
2. Start a new job. Josh will start as a chemistry professor at BYU around June 15th
3. Buy a new house. Affiliated with above mentioned items.
4. Have a baby. Due July 22nd, but given my history HE (let's not kid ourselves now shall we?) could very likely arrive by early July at the latest.

We'll also throw in three birthdays (not counting the new baby's) and a baptism during the month of June as well just to spice things up a little.

What do you think? Sound like a good plan for summer? :) Oh bye bye my beloved beach and 70 degree days in January.

  1. Hooray!!!!!!! I'm so excited for you guys. A new job, a new house and a baby all in one summer. SWEET! I think he babies are pretty awesome but if you choose to have that verified next month- I'll be excited to know for sure :-) Is BYU paying to move you? Because if they are that eliminates a lot of that stress. And if they aren't- well poo on them.

  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is so exciting!! And when you were telling your miracle story in Relief Society about Josh giving you a blessing during your ectopic pregnancy, all I kept thinking was, "I sure hope she gets pregnant soon!" You are such a great mom. I've always admired you and wanted to be more like you. PQ1 is losing some WONDERFUL people in you guys!

  9. Hooray! What a crazy summer! Hooray!

(I had my suspicions when you said you were taking a nap and your mom was cleaning your house.)

Congrats on all accounts -- job, baby, new state! (I think you should move to Edgemont, BTW. Then I couldn't help but bump into you when we're home visiting.)

  10. CONGRATULATIONS!! But please have a little girl. I am getting awfully discouraged looking at all the families who only have boys. Good luck with all the craziness.

  12. I feel giddy with excitement for you! CONGRATS on so many accounts! Yes it is a lot of stress! But fun, new and exciting! Now I must put in a plug for Spanish Fork!!! That happens to be the fabulous place where I live! My ward is filled with young professors. It is the "happening" place to be! This is me being selfish and wanting you to be close. Who wouldn't want the fabulous Price family near them??? No pressure...I may or may not start sending you MLS listings near by ;)
    CONGRATS!

  13. You'll do it with flying colors! And you'll be a few states closer to Wisconsin again, which is the REALLY important information. Just kidding! Congratulations! I had no idea you were having another baby! And Utah--who woulda thunk it! ;)

(We just had our fifth - and finally got a girl.) So congratulations on both counts! I'll put in another plug for Spanish Fork - it's where we are and we'd love to have you guys close! Send me an email sometime and fill me in on your plans (when you make them). My email is my last name dot my first name at gmail.com.
