Bad Manners

Dallen likes talking on the phone to his Grandma's. Today he asked to call Grammy so we dialed her number. There was no answer so I told him to leave a message. He was little ticked off that she wasn't there to talk to him. This was his message: "Call me back you stupid Grandma."

Nice. Someone ought to teach that kid some manners.

(ps-He was sick and grouchy, so you gotta cut him a little slack.)

  1. I love this story. No slack needed! Kids are supposed to say hilarious stuff like that! I'm sure his stupid grandma loved it! :)

  2. I really enjoy reading your blog and thank you for the reality checks! Blog lives can seem perfect. But it is so great to hear how you make work what comes your way.

  3. Oh that's funny. Stupid is such a strong word to kids, I'm sure he felt bad enough afterward and learned his own good manner lesson. In 1st grade our teacher taught us that "ignorant" just meant you didn't know something, it didn't mean you were stupid, so I loudly said to the teacher, "you're ignorant! heeheehee". She just smiled, but I felt bad enough to melt as soon as it came out, and I was very careful to respect her and other teachers from then on.
